What is the PSAT/NMSQT?
For sophomores, it is the PreSAT, which is a test that can be used to determine college admission eligibility. This is just a practice test for sophomores. For juniors, the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is used to identify juniors with top scores and offer them various scholarship opportunities.
Here are the details of the PSAT/NMSQT test:
Who: Sophomores and Juniors that are in the top of their class. Come talk to me if you don't know your class rank.
What: PreSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
When: Wednesday, October 18 during Periods 1, 2, 3, and 5.
Where: Room 402
Cost: TBD
This is not a required test and it is not for everyone. This is great practice for taking tests. If you are interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT test, please let me know by Monday, September 15! You can email me or stop by my office. Payment is required by September 15 as well. Make checks payable to Adams Central or bring cash.
